Pat is a dear friend of mine! We met when she contacted me about visiting my son Matt, who was dying in the ICU from metastatic breast cancer. Unfortunately Matt died before she got to meet him. Pat did visit me a short time later and we have become forever friends and advocates for breast cancer in men awareness. I’m looking forward to perhaps meeting Kristina soon. I cannot speak to the grief of breast cancer in my husband, but I can to the devastating loss of my son and only child.
Wow. What a powerhouse of a woman. She has so much to share with the world- I’m so glad she’s doing just that. And to have met her in person must have been uniquely special. Great story!
That's exactly right. An absolutely formidable force. There is no one whom she won't have a conversation with to make sure that they know that men can get breast cancer. Every time she fills gas, she has a conversation about it. How many thousands of people has she educated? It's hard to know. Talk about knowing your life purpose...
Thank you for sharing our story, Kristina. I am so grateful to have met you and Chris! Love and hugs to you always!
I love your story, but wish you had more time with him. Love to you, Pat.
What a poignant meet-up. Thank you for sharing this Kristina. It's good to hear that you're connecting with wonderful people like Patricia.
